Cellairis Oglethorpe Mall

Well, Savannah's popular Oglethorpe Mall reopening today and you can bet mall leaders are eager to welcome shoppers after being closed for several weeks. W J sales Emma Hamlin joins us live right now from that mall on Abercourt Street with what shoppers need to know. Chris, after weeks of having to keep its doors shut, the Oglethorpe Mall is finally able to open back up today and welcome customers in this morning. But before you grab your wallet and rush out the door to go shopping, you do have to know that just because the mall is open doesn't mean all of the stores will be open. As of this morning, the only stores planning to open are Macy's Barnes and Noble and Lens crafters. The mall now has hand sanitizing stations, touch free entrances, extra space in the food court and other safety measures to protect shoppers from the spread of the coronavirus. Valley Services play areas, stroller rentals and mall operated carousels are not available until further notice. Now the mall is operating under modified hours. So Monday through Saturday, the mall will be open from 11 a. m. until seven o'clock in the evening and on Sundays will be open from noon to six reporting live in Savannah this morning.
