1 Cell Phone Repairs

Hi, my name is Dan. I'm the proprietor here at Cell Phone Repair as we affectionately call it CPR. CPR is a franchise business with 170 stores throughout North America. And we provide support for cell phones of any make and model. You crack your screen, water damage, your phone won't charge, any of those things, battery replacements. In addition to that, we cover game systems, PS3, Xbox, any of those systems. We can repair just about anything. Basically, we can do any electronic handheld device. We do a lot of iPad repairs, tablet repairs, and we have done cameras. We can even clean and repair DVDs, Blu-ray discs. If you scratch them, we can bring them in and we can fix them up for you. We see a lot of broken glass on phones. Samsung's and iPhones, we see. Lately, we're seeing the new LG phones. If it's not that, it'll be power buttons. People just wear out charge ports where you plug in your wire. A lot of times, people don't realize you can replace that part. Some people don't even realize you can replace batteries on things Obviously, our clientele tends to be a little bit younger. I mean, I always say our biggest customer is probably age 14 to 28, 29. But that doesn't mean we won't get customers at any age, because we get people as old as 80 years old coming in with flip phones. And we still do repair flip phones, but the majority of our customers have smart phones. And they either tend to be business professionals, or they tend to be students, or high school, college, that type of thing. We make sure our technicians go through two weeks' formal training at the franchise, and then they get six months' training with a senior technician before we let them really go crazy on somebody's phone. We also back all our repairs with a six-month warranty. And to do that, obviously, we need to be doing the job right the first time. And we need to be buying original parts so that if they fail and they come back, we can replace them and send them back to our suppliers. We think our biggest distinction is customer service speed. We try to turn a phone around within 60 to 90 minutes. We also try to provide service if people have problems with data transfers, or they just don't know how to use their phone. We'll spend the time to try to help them do that. We In addition to doing the repairs, we also sell refurbished phones. We buy phones from customers. If they are upgraded and they want to know what to do with my iPhone 4S or their previous version, we'll buy that phone from them. We'll refurbish it and we'll put it in the case. A lot of people are two years into a contract. They break their phone, they destroy their phone or lose their phone. They don't have any options, and so they can buy refurbished phones. Novi is a great town. I live just south of here in Northville. But, The Novi Town Center here is a big draw. We always put cell phone pairs towards near carriers And right here we have AT&T 50 feet away from us, and luckily Verizon just moved it across the street.
