For the last year I've been driving past t And I haven't really thought much into it because really every single carrier in the USA does t But t Also free Motorola's and Samsung phones. A couple weeks ago I posted a video about how you can get an iPhone 13 from Walmart for just $199, which looked Caveat is these are locked total Wireless and someone commented on that video that Total Wireless has a better deal if you go to them directly. They said you could get a free iPhone 13 if you buy a 3 month unlimited plan w So that's why I decided to investigate So man, how's it going? Good. Good. I know you guys do Over the course of an hour this nice young man at the Total Wireless gave me all the details and I'll just so first t With the requirement that you have to sign up for three months of total 5G unlimited service. After the three months of unlimited 5G service, the iPhone 13 will unlock. From there you can either continue service with Total Wireless or you can switch over to a lower cost carrier plan. That's of course not how they advertise it, but that's the way I see it. So I got two iPhone 13s. They pitched it as free, but if you look at Total Wireless's website, it's not free. I'll give more details as the video goes on, but I still got a really good deal. So shout out to the rep who basically sold me. I needed these phones So I just ended up moving forward with it. But basically it cost me $470 for two of these iPhone 13s. They each come with unlimited data for three months and then they unlock on day 61. Plus he gave me all sorts of goodies So I guess that's fine. As you can see, the receipt reads $473. 47. So they're around $235 each. They're fully paid outright. There is no contract. Once the phone unlocks, you could switch to a lower cost plan with a different carrier or you can continue with Total Wireless. There's no contract. You're good to do whatever you want. So without porting my n It was But there's a more cost efficient way to do t And so I will show And it's by porting your n So what you're going to do is you're going to go totalWireless. com. You're going to scroll to the very top and it's going to say get a free iPhone 13. You're going to tap on get deal and it's going to bring you to t Now the catch is you need to port your own now listen, a lot of carriers are going to say get a free iPhone 17 on us when you switch to AT&T. You get your iPhone 17 and you pay what 35, 45 bucks a month. But if you read the fine print, you're actually locked into a 36 month contract. And sure, if you want to get out of that contract, you can, but you're going to have to pay the balance, which looks The beauty with Total Wireless or Mint Mobile or any of these month to month plans is you're not locked in long term, w No contracts and you get the same service. So it's a win-win in my book and you're not locked in for three years. So if you're okay with porting your own n It'still a wonderful service, but you're going to tap on that first option where it says great price. It's right here. When you submit it, it's going to bring you to t 165 bucks and 195 bucks. T 165 bucks for three months of unlimited service. It'll bring you to this page where you verify your phone n And t I verified my phone n I went through the whole process, w As you can see, I got 165 bucks for the iPhone 13 with three months of unlimited 5G data. Again, this will require porting your n It's also worth noting in the store and on the website, if you take a gander, you'll see that they're doing similar promotions for the Moto G, A16 and Moto G Razor. So I bought these two iPhone 13s without porting a n Then he said there was It's just a packet that says the phone has an eSIM. It's just once you turn the phone on, the eSIM activates and then taxes was mixed in there somewhere. It's honestly kind of confusing because total wireless doesn't want you to go in and just purchase these phones out, right? They want you to port a n I'm happy at 235 each. That's a deal. Oh yeah. Here's me setting up cellular. You don't do anyt You just turn the phone on and because the store activated it, it will just activate the eSIM for you. There's no physical SIM. The real value with these phones come with they're not used. They are brand new straight from Apple. They still have a manufacturer warranty. They still have at least three years of support and overall t It's not dated at t You could get a really cheap iPhone 13 and after these phones are activated for 60 days on day 61, they will unlock. Total wireless is actually a little bit cheaper than Walmart though. If you're open to porting a n That's it. To set the record straight, these are not refurbished phones. These are brand new phones from Apple. It's just because they're They start to run promotions I've bought one from Walmart and two from total wireless. I'm going to allow them to fully unlock after the 60 days and then they will be wonderful Christmas gifts with both total wireless and Walmart. You have to activate these phones for them to unlock after 60 days. You cannot just connect them to Wi-Fi. You've got to activate them. If you are not going to port a n It's not much. Total wireless might be I'll just go to Walmart. If you're good with porting a n And it's $165 out the door with the iPhone 13 with 90 days of service. So just to be clear, if you don't want to port your n Honestly, if you did that on total wireless's website, it's going to cost more if you do that online than if you just went into Walmart. I got lucky and went into a total wireless store and the guy did a deal for me, But if I wouldn't have bought two phones, it was I put t So if you go to Walmart, you pay $199 plus tax and then you get two months of activation on total wireless for a total of $279. Not including taxes. And then the phone will unlock on day 61 and you can carry that over to a cheaper phone plan if you want. Now, if you go total wireless dot com and choose the iPhone 13 promo option and you don't port a n It would bring you to about $329. There is no contract for t I'm just going off of these two months because that's how long it takes for the phone to unlock from total wireless. And then the last option would be to port your n T Honestly, if you don't care about 30 to 50 bucks, I would just go into Walmart to get the iPhone 13. But if you go into a total wireless and are friendly with the rep, they'll probably give you some sort of deal on just buying the iPhone 13 for And look, that's not guaranteed. That was just my experience. These guys are salespeople, so you could try what you want. But yeah, I hope t And I thank If you have any questions, be sure to comment below. And if this video helped you and you want to see more videos See you.
