I wanted to extend this news to you guys because I think it'starting to hit people's Inboxes and you might want to be on the lookout because you could save some money here Verizon is giving out a whole slew of new discounts To different services and I think for this particular instance My friend sent me a screenshot and the email that he received from Verizon for I think home internet discount And I think this one in particular I Think it was his files and he was getting I think $25 off a month on his file spill for an entire year So it was gonna run the duration of a 12 month Promotional credit I guess onto the bill which he was really happy to get because I think he's paying I think $90 a month So that'll bring his cost down substantially Brings him down to I think 65 And that's a pretty good price for a gig of service right that's pretty good in my opinion I know some people get cheaper prices and that's fine But I know that the everyday price for Fios gig is It wasn't a So what I they're not adding customers at the same rate. They're losing them in terms of the cons We just can't let them leave. We just can't sit back on the sideline and watch the other competitors take our customers We need to retain our customers and still compete to fight for the new ones So when customers are shopping around and when they're looking at new offers and different offers from different companies Verizon wants to be a part of that calculus They want to take their share but the most important thing for Verizon right now appears to be in my opinion Retaining the customers they have and the reason why this is important people and this is the key to this video It's expensive to fight for new customers It's cheaper to just retain them and I think when you look at what Verizon is doing with these loyalty discounts They're saying we're gonna give you 25 30% off of your bill to stay That is huge because that tells you that in order to get the new customer It's a much more difficult challenging and expensive endeavor Verizon knows it and that's why I think they're leveraging this tool This is a tool designed to keep the customer from leaving and going somewhere else because as long as they keep that customer that Restores revenues that keeps things, They don't want to lose anymore Could you imagine a version of t Verizon completely reconstructs their company changes everything and they still can't stop the bleeding It would look and sound ridiculous And I think even the investor at that point would We'll see
