a few years ago we changed the name of our restaurant to SULLIVAN’S EATERY & CREAMERY and ended our relationship with Swensen ‘s. Swensen’s Ice Cream Parlor had been at this location since 1977. We purchased the franchise in 1986. At that time there were over 400 Swensen’s franchises across the U.S. A. Today there remain only four. Sadly, it was no longer economically viable to remain affiliated with Swensen’s. Although we have a new name, we continue with a very similar menu concept, similar coupons and customer specials, including our very popular “Meal Deal” as well as the same friendly staff who have been serving you. We also will continue to make all of our delicious creamy 16% butterfat premium ice cream at our restaurant. We experienced tough times at Sullivan's during our early years in the mid-80s and also during the first year or two of the Great Recession. But nothing I amazed and very happy at how they have responded and adapted so quickly during this very difficult period. We love Tucson. We believe that tough times don't last. Tough people do. This is why we've been working around the clock, reinventing ourselves and the way we serve you. We've had to innovate on the spot, quickly launching our online ordering and partnering with all the delivery apps, as well as launching our own delivery service.
