Here's The Scoop

My name is Karen Sellers. I'm the owner of Here's the Scoop Ice Cream Dessert Shop. Okay, and I guess when did you start with this business? So Here's the Scoop opened up June of 2019. I feel that Here's the Scoop should be entered, nominated simply because we are a true community-based business. I opened a business simply with the idea of wanting to bring a happy place to the community. I feel that ice cream is a universal dessert. It speaks to so many people, different races, different ages. And pretty much you can't have an unhappy customer when it comes to ice cream. I love the fact that family, students, and everyone are able to take advantage of the happy moment of experiencing Here's the Scoop. Everything that we sell in here as far as our ice cream is of top quality. We do not make our ice cream, but I will honestly say that it allows us to bring together a lot of local minority-owned businesses to supply our ice cream. Whereas though it allows me to have some of the best ice cream from multiple different vendors and change the experience to up for our customers. But I can't lie to you, if people come in and they want to know, is the ice cream good? Because I've tasted all of it? Yes, it is.
