San Diego's Original Ice Cream Sandwich.
Northwest El Paso now has a very cool dessert shop. The baked bear is now open at the Westtown Marketplace near the outlets making custom ice cream sandwiches. According to the shop's website, it was started by two friends from San Diego who left their careers to follow their passion of making monstrous desserts. The one in El Paso opened yesterday and had people waiting in line for hours. They told us that you can create the sandwich anywhere you want. One scoop can be two different flavors, whatever you want, and it's a lot of ice cream that is really good. The baked bear has over a dozen original recipe cookies and ice cream flavors so not only can you mix and match your own ice cream sandwiches but have them rolled through toppings
