We have been making Italian Ice, sorbet and gelato since 1936. We started at Al's Stand in 1936 with Al making all of the frozen desserts. Now 4 generations later we are still going strong. Come down and see us. Our Italian Ices/ Sorbet is made with real fruit and are fat/cholesterol/lactose free. All Italian ices are vegan friendly.

I perfected it to the point where there is nothing in it that God didn't make. It all started with Al Lucchese in 1936 in Rochester. Then his son Frank in 1986 and a move to Gates and now Frank'son Al and his sons Angelo and Anthony and the team are serving up 18 fresh flavors of Italian ice on Ling Road in Greece. And everybody on the west side of Rochester especially east side too but most especially west side knew about Elstand. I would say 70% of my customers come in and they just want to talk about the old days and they'll stand and when they come and get Italian ice it brings them back to those days and The family tradition continues out on Ling Road in Greece.
