In 2008, John and Kim Boyer set out to make a decades-old dream a reality. Their dream was two-fold. They wished to offer the city of Richmond and her visitors a place where they could enjoy some of Richmond’s favorite local food brands while receiving the highest level of customer service. Secondly, they embarked upon this endeavor to allow themselves to run a business that would aid in the support of one of their children who has special needs. When the doors of Boyer’s Ice Cream and Coffee opened, their dreams became a little more real. Over the years, we’ve taken great pride in being a small, family-owned business that can serve great, local offerings to the community. Whether you’re dropping by to share a conversation with a friend, get some work done, or simply enjoy a locally-made treat, we’ve got something for you in the near West End at Libbie & Grove.
