West Street Market is Reno's newest hangout! There is an array of locally owned businesses in this space as well as a welcoming courtyard for families and dogs to feel at home. The nights will be hot and sassy at the West Street Market. The Reno Jazz Orchestra performs each Saturday in August, beginning at 7 p. m. on the Plaza. The Jazz Orchestra's free concerts benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. On Saturday August 8th, West Street meets Basin Street in this first of four Saturday evening jazz concerts featuring the full 17-piece Reno Jazz Orchestra. Saturday August 15th, No Comprende, Tropical Jazz Quintet, plays Latin rhythms. Saturday August 22nd, Cool Jazz Quintet rocks with a special guest appearance by the Notables. And Saturday August 29th, the Reno Jazz Orchestra will wrap up their four concert series with percussionists from No Comprende for a night of Big Band Latin Jazz. The Reno Jazz Orchestra is committed to keeping Big Band alive in Reno and families facing hardships fed through the Food Bank.
