In 1967 the home of Byrd's Custard relocated to Banbury after 30 years of producing and selling custard in Digworth. Thankfully in 1988, Benny Gray took over and with the help of local architect, Lucian Gray created a space for over 400 artists and businesses, thus beginning the creative hub that is the custard factory today. The ever-changing exterior of the custard factory is all to the unique street artists who choose to call Digworth their home.
