We are at Sugar and Spice, Balboa Island's original banana stand. It's family owned, it's where the third family to own it. It's been on the island. It was first on Balboa Island in 1945. Sugar and Spice is. . . It is a wonderful dessert spot. We have rose bananas, we have Balboa bars, we have all sorts of ice creams and sundaes and shakes, coffee drinks, you name it. If you want a wonderful dessert, come here and you'll enjoy. People can go anywhere for frozen banana, but they come to Sugar and Spice because it's a fun experience and our product is awesome. We also offer catering. We started that about two years ago. We bring the dipping station to your event, whether it be weddings, corporate parties, corporate lunches, birthdays. We bring the dipping station to you. We bring a little bit of the tradition to your party. We make the bananas here. We get them, we peel them, stick them, freeze them so they're all hand-done here. So nothing is store bought. Another nice thing about our shop versus a lot of others is that when a person buys a frozen banana here at Sugar and Spice, they can take it and immediately eat it.
