Jays Specialty Ice Cream

What started out as an ice cream truck has slowly grown into a local favorite. J Specialty Ice Cream is not just ice cream, it is the fulfillment of one Fresno State students' life, dream and goal. My name is Janelle Haas and I am 35 years old. We're at my new location for my business, J Specialty Ice Cream. We're studying business at Fresno State. This ice cream shop was once a school project which became a food truck and now the shop she once hoped for. Probably in the last five or six years I've probably been looking for a location. Every time People kept saying, if you had a regular place we'd come see you. If you had a regular place we'd come see you. So it was always in the back of my mind that people wanted us to have a regular place to go and then it was just From the very start Janelle's ice cream dream was a family affair. Her mom and dad have supported her business plan every step of the way and her dad says they don't intend on stopping anytime soon. My role is everything. Do everything. Whatever Janelle asks me to do It. They love it. It's amazing when we give someone a taste of ice cream and we give them a sample and I know right away like oh they're gonna love this The menu offers a variety of sweet treats from milkshakes to cheesecake rolls. Oreo delight and birthday cake are just two of the many ice cream flavors customers can choose from. It's honestly been Being here The shop is busy at all hours even when no customers are around. Janelle can typically be found in the back spending hours whipping up dozens of fresh batches of ice cream. Ice cream machine that I have it only takes at 13 minutes to make two of these three gallon buckets. But as far as And with the shop Janelle has come full circle from an assignment to a reality.
