Peace Pie

Finally tonight, there's a new place to get pie in South Marquette. Peace Pie Company opened the doors on its new location today, National Pie Day. They celebrated with a ribbon cutting and a special menu for the day. There are full pies and slices available of flavors such as Dutch Apple, tart cherry, chocolate peanut butter and salted honey lavender. Peace Pie Company co-owner says they're excited to finally be open. I'm pretty emotional today, but it'super exciting. We're finally opening the pie shop. It's been a long time coming and people are so excited and people showed up. And yeah, we're just, we're happy. They'll add new menu items including savory pies, homemade soups and breakfast items.
