Rita’s Italian Ice has been a family tradition since 1984, when former Philadelphia firefighter, Bob Tumolo, started selling freshly-made Italian Ice from a small porch window in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Bob and his mother worked to perfect their refreshing Italian Ice recipes, which they made on location daily using real fruit. Bob lovingly named the business after his wife. Her name? You guessed it -- Rita! Over the years, we have added more delicious frozen treats and more happy locations as families across the country make Rita’s a part of their everyday celebrations and traditions. We are thrilled to bring this East Coast favorite to Castle Rock and look forward to welcoming you to the Rita’s family!
