Ice creams built from the ground up with superlative ingredients.
One thing about me, I must always have at least five pints of ice cream in my freezer. Just at a Jenny's restock, I have three flavors that I know and love and two that I've never had before. Start with their maple-soaked pancakes. Tastes The pancake pieces are a bit dense and g They're kind of reminiscent of a blondie. Still an exceptional flavor, nine out of ten. Next we have green smoothie, a bit apprehensive, as this has spinach in it. Why do I love it? Tastes This is very much a full-fat ice cream. There's lots of coconut cream. Very pleasant surprise, ten out of ten. Another flavor that I've had many times, this is brambleberry crisp. I can't stop eating this. The texture of this is divine. It is packed with nutty oat streusel. I actually don't know what a brambleberry is, but it tastes exactly Strong ten out of ten. Next we have the flavor I'most excited for. This is a new flavor. It's a blueberry Johnny cakes, cornbread pancakes, and a blueberry maple jam. Flavor profile wise, this is my dream come true. But this flavor does have some textural issues. There's lots of cornbread which I love, but it's completely blended into the base, making every bite very gritty and quite icy. You can even see the texture it's left on the spoon. I think having pieces or a large swirl of cornbread would be so much better. Also needs more blueberry. Still a six. Finish with a classic salty caramel. Fantastic classic flavor. It is incredibly rich and creamy. It tastes A little bit smoky as well. It does need more salt though. Even the maple-soaked pancakes and the brambleberry crisp had more salt. This would pair wonderfully with apple pie. Eight out of ten.
