Buda Soda Fountain

Hello folks, JR Gwansalys here with the Buta Area Chamber of Commerce. We are now in week 12 of our contest. That's right, week 12 of Eat Local, two times a week. It's very simple to enter. If you haven't entered one of our contests, each week we give something away. All you have to do is go to your favorite eatery here in Buta, take a picture of your food with holding up two fingers, the V sign. That'll get you entered into the Eat Local, two times a week contest. Each week we have a sponsor. This week'sponsor is the Buta Soda Fountain Shop. We've been here for 16 years, connected to the pharmacy next door. We make fresh milkshakes, sundaes, banana splits. We also have all of our homemade soups, sandwiches as well, and a bunch of old fashioned candy. Coming here is kind of Absolutely. Buta, anybody who visits Buta has to come here. This is just a landmark. An old fashioned lunch counter, the old fashioned candies. In fact, I try, even though the Chamber of Commerce is right next door, I try to watch myself and not come here this often because I'm trying to watch the waistline.
