Ice cream is the new health food
The DUMBO Location is currently open Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-10pm. Our Greenpoint Location is currently closed until the springtime. Special Flavors are available on a seasonal basis and only while supplies last. Some of our past flavors have been Cinnamon, Oreo, Mint Chocolate Chunk, and Raspberry Chocolate Chunk.
We're standing here outside the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. It's an institution famous for its handmade ice cream. Everyone on the internet said that the peaches and cream was the one to get, so I tried that one. It was very delicious. Now what makes this more special than just a local small institution making handmade ice cream is the fact that it's at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge. We have a very beautiful view of this here and you can see even the lower part of the lower east end of Manhattan from here. Over to this side, in the distance you can see the Empire State Building. That's the Manhattan Bridge just beyond. And if we turn over to this side, they're gone. Oh, there they go. There's a bride. Just gotten married having her wedding photos taken, just leaving now. I'm afraid I'd miss them. All in all, a beautiful place to stand.
