From time to time, we get something in that we think is pretty special, and we're hoping that you're going to find it special too. Because during these video series, we're going to share with you one or two items each visit, that we think hold their own weight as far as meeting the mark. Now, you see our Alpha Lion here, this beautiful bronze. Wifesize, in fact, it's not for sale. It's our mascot. We have many beautiful bronzes in all sizes and shapes. At a special price, by the way. But without further ado, let's take a look at our featured item here today. Alpha Home Decor presents us very nice antique Herschel Spillman carousel wars. The thought of all the joy that this horse brought thousands of youngsters over its lifetime is absolutely priceless. Produced in the early 1900s, it's made of carved wood, has glass eyes, a horsehair tail, and rides on a new custom oak base. Only a small handful of Ellen Herschel carousels exist today, one of which it can be found at the Henry Ford Greenfield Village in Dearborn. Being complete, this beauty is an excellent candidate for a full restoration. The head received a restoration in 2012. This piece is awesome as it stands in its current condition. Herschel Spillman carousel horses can sell for as much as five figures. Alpha Home Decor is offering this piece for under $3,000.
