Another Time Around was founded in my apartment while I recovered from a double mastectomy. It started with a four piece bedroom set I found for a very reasonable price! I knew I had to paint it, I knew the look I wanted, I had no idea how to accomplish it! I sanded, I researched, I sanded some more. I went to Home Depot and bought paint and rollers and brushes. I sanded some more, researched some more! When I finally finished, a month later, I was so proud of what I had accomplished. I so enjoyed the painting, the creating, it was therapy. Therapy for my body, my mind, my soul. So, it began. My love of furniture, of taking an old piece of quality furniture that no one wanted any more, breathing new life into it. That therapy, in my apartment, has turned into a little shop full of beautiful, hand picked, pre-loved furniture, some I have painted, and some left as is. I now offer workshops where friends gather to "get their color on!" I fund raise for local dog rescues, Breast Cancer and The Refuge House. Drive on out to see me, today!
