Urban Woods was founded in 2006 by Trevor Webb and Anne Gogstad as a follow up to their former furniture venture, Eclexion Designs, which later became Environment Furniture. All design work is done in-house and manufacturing is based in Los Angeles using locally sourced reclaimed wood and sustainable products.
