I tend to lean towards more of a modern sensibility, but it's nice to feel home. My name's Katie Canfield and I'm an interior designer. I mostly focus on residential remodels and construction. A lot of focus on kitchens and baths. A lot of focus on custom cabinetry. It's less about me forcing an aesthetic on something and more about problem solving. This piece over here is actually custom furniture. The original piece were replicating had solid wood doors, but we did this beautiful fluted glass detail here. This project was really unique. I call it kind of Definitely a project where it was The hardware was really tricky. The homeowner wanted to pick something that felt historic but new. I need to understand how everything works before I suggest it, before I design it. And, rings end, you have your hardware expert and your door expert and your window expert and your paint expert.
