Reinspired Treasures

Hi everybody, this is Noreen Long from Berkshire Hathaway Team Anders and today I am at Alger Heights highlighting a newer local business, Reinspired Treasures. I've got the owner of Reinspired Treasures with me, Jay Brooks and he is going to tell us a little bit about being a small business owner in Alger and what we can expect to find in his store. Jay, how are you doing? I'm good, how are you? Awesome. How long have My wife and I opened the store about a year ago and we selected the Alger Heights area because this is where our first home was and when we knew that this spot was opening up we thought man that's a perfect place to be. Things are really changing around here, it's a really good time to come in. That's awesome, we're happy to have you. And Jay, what would you say is one of the best things to having a small business in Alger Heights? Well, the community is great, the neighborhood has been so supportive of us, we have people in here daily that even come in just to buy a car just because they want to support us on a regular basis. Awesome, that's what we're looking to do, support local business. So we're going to walk around with Jay and he's just going to highlight some of the things that you can expect to find in the store. We carry a whole mix of home decor items, both vintage and new. We've got new upholstered furniture, we also have artisans that make furniture for us and people who repurpose things and we also carry new merchandise, so it's kind of a good mix. We call it kind of the fixer-upper style that's real popular right now. And so you can find really anything for your home decor here. We carry children's clothes as well, candles, some scarves and jewelry as well. Come and support your local businesses.
