REthink Design, LLC brings new life to old things by providing innovative, eco-friendly and economical redesign, reorganization and refinishing/reworking furniture pieces while creating long lasting client relationships with our integrity and commitment to outstanding customer service. Since an early age I can remember watching This Old House with Bob Villa with my father on the weekends. I loved watching the work working details and refinishing, making something quite ugly look beautiful again. My first project was a solid wood nightstand that had multiple layers of paint on it. It took me a bit to refinish this piece and show the true beauty of the wood, but I did it ! That was just the beginning, since then I have refinished many pieces for friends and family. Design... oh how I just love a great design!!! I could get lost in home improvement stores, second hand stores, garage stores and flea markets just searching for those treasures that can give a room the perfect amount of character or trying to REthink pieces in different and unconventional ways. Along with my love for refinishing and decorating, I am a mom of two young boys and well that means organization is key! I love having things in its place and for everything to have a place. I find that a lot of people get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. That's where I come in! My old co-workers used to tease me because my desk drawers were always perfectly organized with not a paper clip out of place!!! After years of working in real estate as a closing coordinator, I am following my dreams and doing what I love!
