Actually, located at the corner of Coast Hwy 101 and E Street, this Encinitas icon has been serving north county residents for more than 13 years. With a focus on terrific hairstyles for both men and women, Detour became one of the hottest salons in San Diego county. Here at Detour Salon we've got obviously a salon and the store is standing behind me. We focus on hair. Hair is what we do. It's really what we love. We don't do nails. We don't do facials. We really focus on hair because we feel One of the things that also makes this different I think is our association with B Through that association we've grown to become the largest B Initially in Southern California but at this point we're the largest B We feel that here at Detour a lifestyle doesn't just end with a hairstyle and we really want to help compliment that with the store. So after customers got their hair done they can feel free to shop in the store and buy a dress, jewelry. We'really proud to be able to offer our clients not just hairstyles but something that they can compliment with their lifestyle as well. Literally I walked in today for my service and I saw this so I bought it before I even started my haircut. I don't want to go to a professional and tell them what to do. So I come in, I let my stylist decide what's going to look best on me and for eight years now it's turned out perfectly.
