Today I'm at Simply the Cupcake and in just a few minutes we're going to meet Bato, the owner, and find out all about this Mission Viejo business. Let's get started. Hi, welcome to Simply the Cupcake Store John. Well thank you very much for having me today, but I'll see what it's about, how you got involved in this business. As you go over this business, this location actually in 2016 in January, and then we did rebranding, and then we did more marketing, we did some recipe chains, and then getting more quality ingredients and fresh, daily baked products. So a couple things. Then we put the Simply the Cupcake Store and then it's And then you change the ingredients and improve the ingredients. We improve the ingredients, getting better quality products, and then it turns out really well. And then of course a better selection, a bigger selection. So they use previous owners every day, which is really hard for us, but our customers are They want to see the variety. So let's talk about the cupcakes. If I walk in, or when I walk in, what do I find in the case? You have a kid? I should be the best seller. So this is one of the flavors, which is called the Rainbow Cupcake, just a birthday cake, it has two different colors, blue and pink, and it has a rainbow candy on top, but it has gold stars on it. So this is one of our really good sellers. So we do have a really good seller, which is called the Simola, And then we have the Hostess, but we already sold out. It's 30 right now, but we're sold out with the Hostess. I can't bring it, sorry. Popular, right? Yeah, because they're the best sellers. Also, our cakes are known as really moist and light. Our production starts around 4am, 3am, depends on how busy you are for that day. And then we bake everything fresh and daily. So you mentioned cakes. So let's talk a little bit about your cakes. We're So you cannot find any cakes pre-made, but you can also give us a call. And we're able to do last minute cakes, but for custom design we should ask And what kind of occasions are you serving? So right now it's We'really busy with the wedding season, and then usually birthday cakes. Oh yeah, very specializing in fondant as you can see in the background. So we'really good at fondant works, and then fondant art works actually. So people can come in and request a special design or special words? They can come with any design, and then they can ask that probably available, and make it, yes or no. Because we can do Who are your typical customers? So we look up our name, and then they can sit And we bring some piping bags, all of those tools that they need, all of the toppers, and they can do decoration on top. Okay. So our website is simply the cupcake. com. And then it's easy access, they can just go in, they can fill out the online order form, and call them back for pre-orders. And what about your telephone n The telephone n Okay. And what are your hours of operation? The operation hours are Monday through Friday, 8am until 6. 30, Saturday 8am until 6pm, and on Sunday it's 11am to 5pm. So we're open seven days. Seven days? And you're busy in the mornings?
