New Radio, Dork County Daily News. Paul Schmid here at Stoodle as IGA and joining us is Nicole Wilcox. She's the online manager for Stoodle as IGA. Nicole, a new program that Actually when COVID kind of started was your online service provider providing services online. We're going to actually order the groceries ahead of time and then pick them up where Yeah, yeah, so we started about a year ago and I went ahead and got a few examples ready of an online order. We have different sizes. This is a very small online order. But just to give you an example of a few things that we can get online, you can get alcohol, birthday cakes, fresh ground beef. You can order bananas, anything by way to a poundage. We all adjust that when we check it all out. It'super simple, very convenient, easy to do. And can be right down on your phone, right? So you can order the whole entire order right on your phone. This is what it looks So it tells us who the order is through. And then it'll go through step by step of every single item that you purchased that you want to get. Now if somebody is getting an item and it may be on a stock or you may not have it, how do you handle that sort of substitutions? So that's a perfect example question, I should say. So I brought up, so this is the box of cereal that I placed on my order. I wanted the large size box. Now let'say this wasn't available on the shelf and I wanted to get this one instead. So we always take into consideration a price and the customer quantity. We don't want to give them something that's too expensive or necessarily smaller amount because if they're using it for a recipe, we want to make sure it's as close as we possibly can. So when I go in onto my phone, I would click on that item and then I would hit add substitution. Now the customer can also select no substitution or best comparable. And if they put no substitution, we won't give them anything and we'll just leave that off for the order. So all I would do is I will scan that UTC. It'll give me that option to give this product. I select it and then I go in and I hit quantity and I'm going to do one box because they originally only wanted one box of the smaller one. And then when I hit substitute item, it'll show me that I gave them a substitution. At the end of the transaction, when they receive their final receipt through their email, it'll show that we substituted that item for that. And if you have a couple of substitutions, you usually contact them and let them know that there is a couple of substitutions and if they're okay with their substitutions, Any more than two items that we have to substitute in order, we'll contact them through a telephone call. If we don't get a response within about 30 minutes, we'll shoot them a text. And then if we don't hear anything again, we wait one hour because we have a two hour window to get that order ready. So within about an hour, we try to hear from them and then if we don't, we'll just either leave the item off or give them the best comparable option that we can come up with. So yeah, keeping in mind price and size and things And if somebody orders from the deli, So everything that we give them from the deli is going to be fresh. So let'say they put their order in at 8am and they're not picking it up until 5. 30, right around dinner. We are going to give them everything fresh. So we make little notes on our end and we ring it through at the regular price. But when they come to pick up, we walk to the deli and we have everything reserved and they make it fresh. We pick it up. We have little notes on our end. They'll go back our online order run out person. They'll go pick up that fresh purchase rate chicken and then bring it out fresh so it's not sitting all day from 8am when we got the order ready initially. Very good. And then as far as the process, I mean, people can just sign up online, right? Is this the easiest way to get signed up for the online services? Correct. You go in Stadolazig. com, create an account, log in and start shopping. The first time you make an order, it can be a little bit time cons But the more you do it, it'll save your favorite items that you Very good. And then if somebody doesn't feel comfortable or for whatever reason may have difficulty and they can't get into the store to get the items that they have ordered, Correct. You can actually bring it to them. Yep. No need to come in. We bring it right out. We have special parking spots. We can go take a look at them. Let's do that. And I'll show you them. So we'd have everything bagged up. You give us a call and we'll bring it right out. That's kind of going on. And this has been really popular. A lot of people They can order it from work or after work and then pick up their groceries and not have to deal with the additional time they take to walk through the store to get their items. Yes. Super simple, easy. We always run promotions so you don't have to pay a fee or anything With our back to school special, we'll have if you spend 100 to get $5 off and free pickups. So it's win-win. We're at Stadola's IG in Luxembourg and as we approach the parking lot here on the east side, you can see there's a reserve spot. So you actually have a couple spots, right? We have spot one and two. And on when you pull up, it says the n So you can call or text this n They'll pick up on the other end and then we'll go get your items that have been sitting in our refrigerator to freezer or dry goods section. We'll bring them right out to you. Very good. Well Nicole, thank you very much for sharing your online services available here at Stadola's IG and we encourage people to go online and take advantage of the service. Thank you.
