Cleveland police have set up a special detail to investigate a rash of break-ins on the city's near west side. So far two have been arrested and police say more arrests are on the way. General Easton Kendrick spoke with business owners and is live in Ohio City with the latest. Dawn, Frankly, this is infuriating. In this up-and-coming, vibrant pulse of a city on the rise, nationally recognized for the people who are building it up. There's zero tolerance for those who are tearing it down. In the last week, at least five businesses Police say it's the same M. O. as here at Cleveland Bagel on Detroit. The thieves smash out windows with a brick, get in and grab point of sale iPads and cash registers. They're quick and they're bold. At least five Ohio City and near west side businesses busted into. Herb and twine hit on Lorraine as well as Go Media right next door and Jack Flaps just down the street. Lady Luck hair salon on Lorraine must have seemed But Cleveland police have already made two arrests and confiscated stolen property. All I would say is don't be an idiot. Everybody has cameras. Jeff Hardman and his Cleveland Bagel business partner Dan Herbst have been rooted here in Ohio City for 13 years before it was the hip happened in place. They started working, living, growing a business here where signs of growth are everywhere now. So for the people Police say more arrests are on the way We have some nice pictures of him. The police are really diligent about it. So I think that's a good message for the other community members that the police, But police certainly have their work cut out for them. I talked to a woman who lives with her family lives there in the heart of Ohio City, who had all three of her cars broken into recently as well.
