The Bear Scentials is proud to offer our homemade candles, melts & home fragrance items. The majority of our products are made with 100% Pure Soy wax. We are a proud "Made In Alaska" business. All homemade items are handmade in our Wasilla home.
We have been in business in Wasilla since 2006, first offering our soy melts, crumbles, wax dipped critters and candles. Rebecca first started making candles & melts ("tarts" back then) in 1999 for personal & friends' use. We have been very fortunate that many of our customers have been with us since the beginning, and are so appreciative of the way they have helped our business grow! :) We are honored to have so much repeat business year after year, and truly thankful. We sell our items at seasonal bazaars, events & shows. We are open year around, offering our customer favorite Open Houses in our Wasilla home, where you can come shop and sample all of our items--usually with many sales & specials! Otherwise, if you can't make it to a scheduled event we can make you an appointment to come by. Please realize that we are happy to offer private "show & smells", but because we are also a busy family, we cannot accomodate drop-ins except by appointment only. The kit is delivered in our Berpo box, that many people use as a survival box or bushcraft. Inside, you will find the training cords, orange and green. The cords themselves measure 90 cm long. They are thick enough and solid enough to keep their shape while you learn how to make knots. The knotting card is in its own canvas bag. On the first page of the card, I created a camp scene that shows exactly where to make each of your knots. Then, by sliding the card If you prefer the video shape, the back is a QR code that sends all my video tutorials on all these knots online. For size reference, the card has approximately the same size as a credit card. Now, if you order the big size kit, you will receive the big additional knotting card. So, the big one is really good for the house. The small one is ideal for the field. With the big kit, you will get both.
