Stocklist came from an idea to modify a 1977 Pace Aero RV and turn it into a mobile gift store. I know, crazy. I entered spaceworks in January of 2016 with this idea and I stood up in front of everyone and I showed them this picture of this beautiful RV that is obviously not the store and talked about how were going to create a mobile gift store moving to where people are in Tacoma. And through my spaceworks experience I was presented with the opportunity to open up in this space and it kind of felt From the start, working with spaceworks has been one of the best opportunities that I had in my life. I think from January of 2016 when the cohort started until now it's provided me with all of these opportunities and this opportunity to build Stocklist, to build this great group of people that I can network with, ask advice from. I feel People support spaceworks and they recognize how important it is to the vibrancy of Tacoma. At this point I think my favorite Stocklist item changes every day. Currently I'm loving these awesome Tacoma pennants made by Oxford pennants that we had custom made but I love three bed sheets, pillows, I love some of the jewelry, cards, stationery, candles, socks, I kind of love it. Working with other Tacoma artists is kind of why Stocklist started. I think the idea is to be able to sell awesome goods made here in town from people that I know and definitely it's fun to be able to give feedback back and forth. That just happened two days ago. But it's fun to kind of share ideas about what people are saying they want when they're visiting downtown and give that direct feedback to the artists. So it's one of the most fulfilling parts.
