The series is going to be a fantastic one. I love every single moment and every single episode and bringing some of my thoughts to you. Today I am going to share something very personal, extremely personal. It is my life project. A life project to build an aircraft muse How do I think of that? Well, it's a story of three people. The first one starts about 10 years ago in Kaluna, British Col I was walking down the street with my parents, were on a holiday there, and I see a store called the Bergman's Gentleman Store. It's The Bergman's Gentleman Store. I go inside and guess who do I see? Mr. Bergman himself. I then speak with him and I say, what's this store about? It looks very interesting. He says, yes, on this wall you see I sell cigars, on that wall I sell hats, and on that wall I sell globes. I was He said, well, the thing is, I'm now retired, and all my life I have loved cigars, hats and globes. And I wanted to surround myself with the things I love once I retired, hence I opened up this store. And I sit here all day, take out a cigar and smoke it, wear a new hat, and hang out with my friends who I was very fascinated. I was like, yeah, That was the first encounter. The second happened a few months ago when I was interviewing David Mirman Scott on this show, and after the episode was done, he said, hey, Shashan, let me show you something. And it took me down to his basement where he had created, he has created an Apollo spacecraft muse I was like, wow, so you can actually build a muse I want to do that one day. And the third encounter is someone I've not even met, and that is Mike Kelly. He's a photographer very famous for this. He's famous for this photo. He's taken this over eight hours at Los Angeles Airport of lots of takeoffs, and he has now done this in Frankfurt and Dubai, lots and lots of places, and he's known for photographs For an aviation geek I love identifying planes in here and just looking at it. And I thought, you know what, one day when I create my own aircraft muse It will have aircraft not in a stand, but somehow hanging from the ceiling and used to be able to walk amongst the planes. And that's exactly what I have been able to start creating. And I'd love to share some of it with you today. So let me step behind the camera and show you a bit more of the aviation muse You can see some of the aircraft right here. You can see me too. You can see more aircraft that I've been hanging from the ceiling. Here is a better view of the Singapore Airlines special livery plane of the Boeing 747 in sunrise livery. You've got the Hong Kong Express and Alaska Airlines retrojet. You've got Star Wars, ANA, R2-D2. And I'll say what is possibly the best looking 747 in the world, the Icelandair, Helga, Aurora. Lots of things that I love. I've not even had a chance to hang all of them here yet. But on the back wall you'll see a n And what this is, is things, items, books that I have collected. On the back wall, this is the original OAG, the official aviation guide, if you look at it, from 1929, January 25th, 1929. And it actually shows vol Where they fly, their actual route networks. Now OAG is a big data company. And it's evolved a lot. But this is the original, actual official aviation guide. I've got a few other interesting items. For example, this Kulula safety card that I shamelessly nicked off a Kulula flight. But this had to be done. It is seriously the world's most safety card. It says things like, Or the spunky yellow dark weather mouth cap comes with the complimentary oxygen. Yep, folks, it's free. Really fun stuff that I've sort of collected from around the world at different times. There are lots of books here, as you can see, two from someone I respect a lot, Gianfranco Betting, on TVA as well as Kaitha. There's five years of Ateha, 10 years of JetBlue, 100 years of Boeing, and a lot more. So this collection will obviously keep growing. Oops, and I will keep running into these planes. But I just wanted to give you a glimpse of my life project, which has just been inspired by 3D individuals and have been able to make this a reality in my week off. I'm going to talk more about Simpliflangs week off, and I thought I would just share this personal story of building an aviation muse I'll catch you tomorrow. Till then, have a great one. Bye.
