I love it. Go to the Roastry or make those at home. Good ideas. Well, holidays are the time where families get together. You see people you haven't seen all year, and usually a few hours are enough, right? Not for the Winger family. They see each other all the time. Thanks to a passion turned business turned family affair. Hi, welcome to Pink Antlers. Pink Antlers Studio. Hi. How are you today? A new cute little shop that has it all when it comes to party planning. We're talking cards, candles, napkins, plates, balloons, confetti, the works. Thanks to Morgan Winger. I want to be able to give them everything for the party. Believe it or not, Morgan dropped everything to make this dream a reality. So I was teaching and then still selling on Etsy and business planning at the same time to try to figure out, Her dad was on board. The first thing he said was go for it. And so was mom. When Morgan called her, she saw a quote that said, what if I fall? And then it said, oh, my darling, what if you fly? Mom gave it to her at her grand opening. And so it's really cool. And she's been really, really supportive. It was just a lot of like looking at the bank account and being like, okay, if I d And it was really just a big leap of faith to be We're going to work really hard at it. And, And it's what we really have been doing for the last year. As you can imagine, Morgan could use a little help. I pretty much knew I was pregnant. I'm the baby. I always get that. Claire actually left her job as a teacher to step in. I knew it would be I could always go back to teaching if I wanted to, but I felt Two sisters opening and running a brand new business. What could go wrong? I don'think we fought within the first few months. And then now it'starting. At first she started making me list of things I had done. And she wasn't putting it for me, but I was I know what to do. And she's I make lists. She's a list person. She needs me to not talk to her sometimes. So I can look at her and know when I should just shut my mouth and just walk away. But it's really hard for me because I want to Now they do have a third sister. We would really need We're not even going to go there. I always toyed with the idea of opening a little shop myself, but I was busy raising my three girls. Mom moved across the street to help. She went to leave and she was free labor. We take anyone for free labor. I'm okay with just them being the boss and they can tell me what to do. She is probably the hardest worker out of any of us and is the one that will Starting your own business is great. As far as getting off the ground, I'm just glad we did it. It's a dream come true for me. But starting your own business with family, maybe even better. And we have a niece and nephew that are three and four and they come in and work here too. And so they love doing that and working behind the counter. We're installing it into our niece that what do you want to do when you grow up? You want to work at Pink Antlers? I love it. I don'think my sisters and I would get along. That is for sure. Pink Antlers Studio is located in Park Place in Lee Wood.
