Third-Eye Sadie's is a new incarnation of Village Witch, still housed at the "old Village Witch" shop in North Lawrence. We offer an amazing selection of Essential and perfume oils, magickal and hoodoo kits and supplies, in-house oil and incense blends, quality gemstones, gorgeous jewelry, books, candles and much, much more. Our emphasis is on global spirituality, local and in-house creations, and a deep consciousness of the diverse community we serve. So what happened? Kerry Johnson has moved her half of Village Witch to her new shop space at 19th and Haskell, and Kacey Carlson is staying in the old location under a new name. We are proud that we have finally accomplished our decade-long goal of opening partner shops. You'll find the 'core' of both shops to be what you've always come to us for: candles, incense, jewelry, conscious gifts and spiritual supplies. Each shop will have its own individual 'flavor' so be sure to check them both out.
What we really specialize in here, which is the gems and minerals in a whole bunch of different form, and just about every mineral that anybody might land on that they might want we either have or can get. That is really what got me started in this business is the shiny objects and that will always be my focus point. Third Eye Sadies is a name that I sort of landed on many years ago in an entirely different context and when we renovated the shop and changed some stuff out it seems We sell things so that we can give things. Sometimes people come in and I will give them what they need. This is also a counseling center, a community outreach. It's a bunch of things. We tend to those who otherwise don't have anyone to tend to them. Hatred is hatred and we fix it where we can, survive it where we must and ignore it if we must. The way I start this off I've got four different decks that I read with and they're all shuffled. I don't know what cards on top and I'm just going to ask them which one wants to read for you. I've been doing a Turo readings for about two years. Everyone said that everything was very helpful and sometimes even a little freaky because it happened exactly the way I said it was going to happen. It's not me, it's the cards. I'm a translator. I'm just here to make sure that I don't get in the way of the messages people need to hear. All of the stuff that we make here is really designed to do some very practical problem solving. I get to meet really interesting people and I still get to teach. My favorite moments are when I'm teaching and counseling here. And when I can send people away with a really nice mix of validation for things that they don't really feel that they can talk to anybody else about.
