Hello, my name is Caroline Cheshire. I'm the founder of HealingBasket. com, a very different internet basket and gift site. The idea of HealingBasket grew from my own experiences. Following a loss, I was inundated with flowers and I learned that you can have too much of a good thing. The flowers became work after the delivery day and for me, my home began to feel Also over the years, I'd become frustrated by the overstuffed and over-decorated gift baskets on the market. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but whenever I received a gift basket, once I took out the contents, it was quite disappointing. The cool stuff was the frills and bows. There was never any substance inside. And the last straw for me was when I needed a quality sympathy basket for a friend, and I found the choice to be incredibly limited. I just refused to send a cheese basket to convey my deep sympathies to a friend. And so HealingBasket was born. Over the last six years, we have become a key resource to people needing gifts for physical, mental, and spiritual healing. HealingBasket is a place where you will always find appropriate, practical, and quality gifts for nearly every difficult situation. Sympathy, cancer from diagnosis to treatment, get well for adults and children, divorce support for adults and children, recovery, job loss, depression, infatility, and everything in between. And that might sound depressing, but we are completely inspired. Because we understand that when bad things happen, we are often fearful of getting it wrong and making it even worse. And we often choose the easy path of waiting and maybe doing nothing.
