a third generation woman owned business in Evansville and celebrating a big milestone this month. Marion's hallmark along the Lloyd Expressway on the east side has been open for 50 years. Marion bought the business in 1974 but passed away four years later. Her daughter Cindy took over and has been there for 44 years. Cindy and her daughter Katie say customers have been their favorite part of running the business. The journey has been interesting and it's been wonderful. When I say it was a gift it is very much a gift. Our customers have been incredible. Warm to us. They are our friends. It is a great business. Got some goodies to decorate with for the fall so I can do that next week. So it's been a fun day today. This is really a nice place and the people here are all very friendly. Today's celebration also featured two buds BBQ food truck.
