Hello, my name is Nkeya and I'm a Divine Element of Design in the Decorator's Voice. I'm a Certified Interior Decorator, Professional Organizer and Planning and Productivity Strategist. And if those are topics that you're interested in, please subscribe to this channel and develop notifications. In addition to my weekly YouTube videos and blog posts, I also have a free course titled Five Days to Organize Life at Home and I recently released my new planner, the 2025 Divine Life at Home Planner. The detail about the planner and the course will be in the description box below. So for this video, we are going to look at our March Divine Life at Home book for the month, which is Everyday Magic by Mandy James. I love this book. First of all, I've been a follower of Mandy James for at least 10 years. I discovered her during the whole Periscope era. When people were going live on Periscope and just sharing a lot of that information. So I actually discovered her and her sister, Maya Elias, on Periscope. And she really, her words, her teachings and everything, her community really touched me. So I've been following her ever since then. Now she'she has three babies, The Everyday Magic is great. Now, this particular book comes in an audible version or a hardback. I actually purchased both of them. I listen to the audible on my phone or on my Alexa device and it is simply great. Mandy James actually is the voice on audible. So I really love when I listen to an audible book and it's actually read by the audience, by the author because it shows such great. This is so authentic. I love that about it. So now the hard book, I got the hard book because I went to one of her events the end of 2024 and she autographed my book and I actually gave her one of my planners in 2020. I think it was probably 2024 Divine Life at Home planner and I autographed it for her. So we did a book autograph book swatch, a swap exchange. So that was really good. But for this book, let's get into it. Now this is a very comfortable and a very easy read. It will draw you in. She is as she called an everyday girl, an everyday woman, but she has developed some strategies and techniques and her way of thinking and living actually can help anyone. You can be whoever you are. In her book, she talks about outsourcing things. So for her, she outsources her laundry. I haven't did laundry yet. I've outsourced cleaning, but I have not did laundry yet. I do not I could wash, but it's the putting away and the folding and all that stuff that I have a problem with. But she talks about how it is okay to outsource things because three or four hours a week or a day or however long it takes you to do the laundry, you can actually put that into spending time with your family or doing things that you love. And I'm all for outsourcing. I would outsource everything if I could. Another thing in her book, she talks about doing your most difficult thing first. She calls it David and her Goliath. I call it either live frog, but basically it's the same thing because once you do that most difficult thing in the morning, everything else is a piece of cake. If you can just get into habit of doing the most hardest task, then everything else just rolls right easily. So her book, it is, she calls it the joy of not being everything and still being more than enough. So I always say, My life is not perfect. Beyonce's life is not perfect. She'still singing and making money and going on tours and waking up at three o'clock in the morning. To me, that's not perfect, but it works for her and it's perfect for her. But in everyday magic, she gives you so many tips and suggestions and just real life things that you can do. Now she also has a community called the Ann-Mor community and I am a member of her Ann-Mor community. So in her community, it's I mean, you don't have to do it live, but she has Zoom meetings every week, Monday through Thursday for between 25 minutes to 45 minutes. She tries to respect your time and I'm not doing air quotes as being sarcastic or anything, but that's what she says. She always says, I'm going to respect your time. I'm not going to hold you any longer. Unfortunately, sometimes I can't get on the call, the Zoom call, but all of her replays are available in the app. So I could be writing down, writing down the street or working on a project and I could listen to it if I'm unable to catch the live. And with her live, it's an open dialogue. So you can actually go back and forth. You can ask questions to her, ask questions or give advice to other people that are on the call. So our community is great. So I will leave information about her and one community in the description box below because this is great. I mean, her community, I mean, it is It's just maybe, I don't even remember how much it is. It's I don't even know, but I'm But in her community, in addition to the morning talks that we have Monday through Thursday, she has Bible study, she has classes, we do milk prepping, there's Q and A. And then you can also get to know other people. If you are an N1 community member and you live in Texas and you want to network with someone else that's in Texas, that's great. She gives information for creators. So if you want to be a content creator, there's information there for you. If you want to open your own small business, there's information there for you. If you just want to be a stay at home mom and be the best stay at home mom you can be, it's information for you. So as she would say, you just eat the meat and throw away the bones. For me, I'm eating the meat and I'm sucking on those bones because I want all the information that Maddie have to give because that's just me. I want to absorb everything. So the Everyday Magic book, There'so much information and she shows you how you can create magic in anything and everything you do. So I really hope you enjoy our book club for the month of March. I found it fitting that it was Everyday Magic for March by Maddie James. So we have all those in so it was definitely a must for the month of March. So I will leave information about the book club so you can see the remaining books that we have for April to December in the discussion box below as long as a link to the website where you can see all of the books and if you want to purchase the books. And then the hard copy if you want to just write notes in it or anything. There's just so much information in this book. So if you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comments section below and I would love to hear it. If you do decide to join the Anwyn community, let me know. I would love to have you in her community and contact, not contact, but have contact with you in the future. So thank you very much for watching this video. Have a good Friday. Goodbye.
