FAWN Gifts

Hi, I'm Bree Hayes. I own Fawn Gifts to East Wilson. I'm from Overland Park, Kansas, which is a suburb of Kansas City. I moved to Illinois in 2001 to attend Col I got my BFA in directing theater. Well, I moved to Batavia about two years ago from Chicago. And I worked a bunch of different jobs in both the nonprofit world and the social justice world, and I had really burnt out. I worked enough jobs to know that I shouldn't have a boss, that I should find a way to be my own boss, and so this was a really great way to do it. It's called Rivertown Life, and it's produced by the Fox Valley Voice Network, which is Jaime Gutierrez. He has his own podcast and a couple other podcasts, and I'm part of that network. Today in Batavia, n That's my favorite s You'll see me doing that probably at least once a week through August. I love being outside. I love the fact I love baking. I don't do enough of it. I try to bake a pie a week for a while. I really love doing things with plants like terrari I do some weird dance performance art type stuff as well. I take a lot from women writers. I would say two of my favorites are Rebecca Salmit and Michelle T. They've both written I would say that those are my two role models. We just had our three year anniversary and we get married on July 22nd, which is the same day as Cocktails in the Park. That's really exciting. Yeah.
