We've got all the holiday cheer today as we get ready for a little bit of snow. And our weather watch is helping us tell the story to this morning. Look at the photo from Tony already looks So watch out there. Keep that in mind. So while we do have that, some of us still waiting for a little bit of snow checked in with less who's in the little neck and he sees it to the radar. Looks However, not a flake has been seen. Temps above freezing. Count still snow, but we still got to get the atmosphere saturated. We're in that process now. Come take a live look outside with me. 547 this morning. And if you look closely in the shot of your midtown every once in a while, you do see a flake or two flight, but it's up high. How much this is reaching the ground and temperatures above freezing. That still remains to be seen. But perhaps at a morning walk, you could still get out there, at least right now, getting out there, taking the dugout for a walk or getting those morning steps in without any major issues. A few flakes. It's 39 right now. I don't see it staying 39. We will drop as the morning progresses. And with that, I think we'll have a better shot at some snow becoming a little bit more of a hazard. Southwest winds will ultimately kind of lead to the snow's demise, if you will. As snow eventually goes over to rain. So right now it's a bit of a mix as you're on the South Shore, but you go north to Hempstead, Oyster Bay, you're starting to see some flakes flying. So we'll check in with Les, see if he's got a little bit more snow here in a moment. Parts of Bergen, parts of say, Pesach, starting to see a little bit of that falling into parts of Rockland, southern Westchester, heads up, Yonkers, New Rochelle, into Seima, Maranac. And that extends back out to the West as well. So we are filling this in. Nine o'clock now those temperatures are dropping. Now we're starting to see a little bit more of an issue. So this is why we anticipate more of an impact to the morning commute. And with time, that snow goes to rain, especially along the coast. Where you hang on to snow a little bit longer northwest, you're going to pick up a little more acc And then we'll start to blow it out. Out of here is those winds shift back around out of the northwest and ultimately tomorrow's a brighter day. So yes, we do pick up a little bit of snow today, about a coating to two inches. For most areas, the question is how much of that snow sticks around for a white Christmas, but you see the temperatures. 43, 44. So as you can see, it's be those n However, it's our first of two snow chances possibly this week, Friday afternoon could come with another snow chance and that one could be even bigger. All right, but we can handle this. It's a trace to two inches. I know you can handle it. Not the biggest no, but it's just a nice festive and just want folks to be careful getting her looking pretty out there. Tony, thank you.
