We started the business about three and a half years ago in Santa Monica. We found ourselves needing furniture and we decided to build it ourselves. And after having a great response from all of our friends, we decided to try it out selling it online and we have literally been back-ordered ever since that first piece sold. I think it was kind of always a family affair since even before it was a business, were always building, always fixing and it was kind of always family no matter what were doing. So it just made sense that once we decided to turn it into a business that kind of all hands on deck, everyone came to the call. I feel We're a very simple bunch of people. We don't need a lot of frills and we don't need a lot of superfluous extra stuff. We want something to work and function properly and be as clean and as simple as possible. My brother's Tristan, he's incredibly creative. He just starts throwing stuff on paper, he'll bring it to us and we'll tell him, well, that's not going to work and that's not going to work because we build it. And then he'll say, okay, well, let me get you something else and he'll come back and it'll be sometimes even better. I'm We have really high standards and we really care about what we do and we get our hands into it and it's not the mass produced stuff that comes out of China. It's not the mass produced stuff that you get at big box stores. It's us. When we deliver something, our name's on the line and it's terrifying for us and we won't let it out unless it's right.
