After moving to Texas and getting remarried, my new husband has given me a wonderful opportunity to become a stay-at-home mom and a small business owner. When I decided to work from home, I wasn't sure what I really wanted to do. I'd worked in a law office half my life, and really didn't know how to do much else, at least I didn't think so at the time. As it turns out, what I had been doing in my spare time was something a lot of people were making tons of money doing. I love to paint. I will paint most anything. Now, I get to take what I love to do, and make money at it. I take vintage furniture and give it new life with beautiful color, textures and an array of different types of media to create a one-of-a-kind piece that, as it turns out, people seem to LOVE. As I drag my husband and two kids to various vintage markets and trade shows to peddle my goods, I'm hoping to meet loads of new people and learn as much as I can along the way.
