When Albert deMatteo founded Avery Boardman in 1968, his intention was to bring his meticulously crafted home furnishings to the interior design community. Like a Saville Row tailor who hand-crafts bespoke menswear, Albert was determined to create the very best in custom-tailored sofas, sofa beds and upholstered furniture for the trade. More than 40 years later, Avery Boardman continues to adhere to the high quality standards that Albert established, making each piece one at a time.
