When I was five years old, my parents bought a set of solid oak furniture for my bedroom. Consisting of a desk, headboard, and chest of drawers, they were meant to last me at least through high school. Well, not only did they last me through high school, but also through college, the beginnings of my career, and are now being enjoyed by my grandchildren. Why do I tell you this story? My parents were never financially wealthy, but they understood the value of quality, quality that lasts for generations. That is the foundation of my mission statement: to design and build one-of-a-kind custom furniture for people who still believe in the value of quality. I work closely with individual clients, asking copious questions, sketching out details in style, design, wood specie, and finish in order to create a unique, long-lasting, yet functional piece that can be appreciated and enjoyed by generations.
