Sara Young is the founder of Sara Sells. Her passion for furniture and design took off several years back with creating a place through social media that people could find quality, discounted pieces. Over the years, that passion has grown and evolved into an exclusive warehouse event that happens monthly in Middle Tennessee. A special part of Sara Sells mission is to give back a portion of proceeds to non-profits in the community that are doing amazing work. Specifically, working with a non-profit called Mercy Multiplied that invites women into a free program to help them with life controlling issues. mercymultiplied.com Sara is a wife and mom of 4 who has lived in Franklin since 2000.

I have always loved interiors, I've always loved space planning and really I just started selling out of my garage just Amazon Returns and it was really a side hobby that started and just quickly realized that there was a gap in the market for high quality pieces at a reasonable price. Yes. Well guys, welcome to our latest community spotlight. I'm so excited about today'story. I've personally been impacted by what the solutions that Sarah has been able to provide and here with me is Sarah Young with Sarah'sells. Sarah, welcome. Hi, thank you for having me. I'm so excited. I don'think a lot of people understand what Sarah Sells is. Basically we offer a once a month warehouse sale and we curate our space, we bring in all categories of furnishings, new to market pieces and our goal is really to keep our overhead low so that we can pass the savings on to our customers. I've always wondered because your pieces could really resonate with pretty much anybody. You have such a beautiful palette. How do you choose those pieces or those designs and where do they come from? So we really do keep mainly a neutral palette. We want to provide those foundational pieces for your home where then you can put your touch on it. We'll bring in color with art or pillows or rugs. But we really want to provide those, just those key staple pieces. Our products come from a multitude of vendors. We also design and manufacture our own pieces that are proprietary so it's going to be a combination of both. Over the years lead times have been just such a struggle for people. We really want to provide a place where people can still come and see and feel the pieces. We want them to know what they're getting and see the quality and then be able to take it home with them and furnish their home immediately and not have to wait the long term times. What does 2025 look Well 2025 we have got some fun things on the horizon. We are revamping our online sales so we have our Saturday in person sale and then we have a Sunday sale that's online. To date our Sunday online sale has been remaining products from the warehouse sale. In 25 we are expanding that inventory to be thousands of new products that people can purchase. Wow. So that's an exciting endeavor that we're launching very soon. Something else that's really exciting is also in 2023 Sarah Sells launched their trade program to bring better access, vol Which I think is so cool. How can they find you? The best place to find us is on Instagram because you get all those visuals and you can see the product that is coming which is at Sarah Sells. We also have a Facebook page that's at Sarah Sells and then you can also join our email list and find out what's happening and stay in the know in that way. Sarah thank you so much for interviewing me today. I think it's going to resonate with a lot of our Birmingham market so definitely check out Sarah Sells on Instagram or on Facebook and until next time see you at the next Community Spotlight.
