RH Contract

This is a short video highlighting what the RH contract Silver package can do for you. The idea behind the Silver package is to compile all base relevant information on any given site with the sole focus on going for planning consent. At this stage we would look to instruct a topographical survey which is required to check levels on the site. This is required from an engineering and architectural perspective. Depending on site characteristics we may require a tree condition survey report. Also depending on the site location an archaeological or ecological survey may be required. At this stage we would look to instruct the Stage 1 site investigation report. The idea behind the Stage 1 site investigation report is to ascertain the ground conditions on the site. We do this by carrying out trial digs and environmental testing to check for potential contaminants. Now with the idea of the ground conditions and the potential issues on site we now have further consultations with the statutory stakeholders such as SEPA, Scottish Water and the local council. At this point we will get an idea if we need further investigations such as the flood risk assessment, drainage impact assessment or even a transportation assessment. If this is required we can carry this out. Now knowing all the constraints on site and with further collaboration with the design team and the statutory stakeholders it's now time to produce a detailed planning package which will consist of architectural drawings and engineering drawings which is required for any planning consent. Based on the detailed package we now have we now look to provide more accurate superstructure and substructure costs for the development. In doing this we can ascertain the actual profit margin for our client. If the client is happy we can then now look to go ahead with the planning application.
