Carleton has been a passionate student of craft in Seattle for the duration of his life. With a strong foundation in metallurgy and fabrication as well as a love for woodworking he combines the two in the form of functional sculpture pieces. This exploration of craft has brought him in contact with the allure of glass which he also incorporates into his sculptural pieces.
