This mattress is a 12-inch thick mattress, 7-inch layer of base foam, 2-inch layer of latex, which is actually a 7-zone latex layer. You get a lot of conforming for each part of your body. Then you've got a top layer of 3-pound foam, which is a cooling foam. I'm sorry, this is actually a 4-pound foam, 3 inches deep. The overall feel is a really nice sink-in feel. This is much further on the softer end of the spectr You can even add an additional pillow top if you wanted to even softer. I think for most people, they'll find this to be adequately soft. It'll provide great pressure relief, perfect for side sleepers. I really A lot of companies have been doing that, but what happens is it can firm up the top layer if you don't get the foam densities right. What Cloud 10 did is they did allow it to still sink in. That latex layer will sort of catch you, so you don't get out of balance. As you can see, it will maintain motion very well. This mattress is a little bit more expensive than some of the competitors. A queen-size retails for around $1300. The sheer weight of it, a queen, is also about 118 pounds. It's a very heavy mattress, a lot of good material in there as well. As far as sleeping cool, I'd say it's probably middle of the road, sleeps no warmer or cooler than most standard mattresses in a box, but it is newer generation foam, so it's not going to be a heat trap They also have a free trial period, which I believe is a 100-day trial. You've got nothing to lose if you want to try it out in your home and see if it's right for you. You're not subject to sales tax either, except if you live in Colorado where the company's headquartered. A lot of good things about this mattress. It does offer some unique feel. It is becoming, I think, harder to find a lot of variety at the soft end of the spectr A lot of these companies will try and appeal to the most broad range of customers. What I would say though is this is a particularly good mattress for side sleepers and a particularly good one for couples where if there's a lot of moving around at night or if you're interrupted by your partner, this will isolate that motion and allow you to sleep on your side just great.
