Shultz Pulse Tree is a family run of Pulse Tree business. We've been around since 1938. It was started by my grandfather who purchased the business from Elmer Shultz back in 1938. Worked with my father and I took it over about five years ago. We redo heirloom furniture, high end furniture, furniture that people want to keep passed out. We'll completely strip down the piece, remove all the fabric, all the padding, replace the Cushions. The customer will select a fabric from our showroom and we'll go through the process of putting everything back together with the fabric they selected. An older piece is generally made of hardwood. It is dialed together. It's built to last compared to throwaway pieces of today. You could certainly buy a piece of furniture for less than it could be a pulsared, but it's not meant to last or pass down. It's a lot of attention. Eddie, who's been with us for about seven years, the value employee who couldn't do all this work without him. There's a lot of effort and love that I've been around my whole life growing up in the furniture businesses. As soon as I was old enough and strong enough to pick up a couch and help my dad carry it out of a customer's house, I've been doing it. So about 35 years. We have been doing the upholstery business for 80 years and last year we expanded our product to live edge timber tables. We do a couple of different styles, river tables with a ripper of acrylic down the middle or a full slab table which can be filled with acrylic in parts and then sealed and coated so that the customer can pick their species of wood, the color of acrylic, and the table bays or legs. We also do cars. We have a facility now where we can pull a vehicle inside, work on it. We also do boat interiors and seating as well. It'd be a classic car restoration, so they want to get the original fabric which we could source for them and restore the interior of a car that they'restoring. A lot of people, So a lot of people are very excited to know that they still have their family's chair in their home and it can be used for generations to come.
