With an expert and loving hand we take quality pieces and give them a new and beautiful existence. Home decor and one of a kind gifts.
I know I wasn't here to talk about it much yesterday, so I wanted to give my thoughts about a rustic rooster indicator. First how about a quick recap? My inspiration for becoming a chef and opening my own restaurant, I realized that you've only got one life to live and the longer you wait the less time you have and it was kind of an hour and ever and I love to cook too. Our initial thought was to open a food truck. Weren't very familiar with the food truck process so it was easier to open a restaurant. We kind of knew we wanted to do a meeting two, meeting three type option for everyone and it just all kind of fell into place. We want you to feel at home when you're here. We don't want you to leave hungry. Our motto is if you leave here hungry it's your own fault. We're going to feed you and we're going to give you as much as what you want. We've had a lot of people tell us it's Makes people happy and that's what makes me happy. Food makes people happy when you get them all into one place. You get people from all walks of life in here every day having conversations about different things and that's important not just for me but for the community. So we have a hot bar that'set up kind of cafeteria style and our daily specials are different Monday through Friday. You can get anything from a meeting one to a meeting three or you can get an all vegetable plate. We have anything from meatloaf to fried chicken, fried pork chops, hamburger steaks. We also have a cook to order menu. You can order hamburgers, cheeseburgers, BOT's and we also offer catering to the community as well. Currently we are Monday through Friday 11 to 6 and Sundays 11 to 3. We're kind off the beaten path so spreading the word helps. For a local business it's Go to your neighbor, go to next door, somebody knows somebody. Just support your local restaurants and businesses and keep us thriving, keep us going. Fried okra. On that counter right there I can still taste it. Let me tell you darling she was the absolute sweetest host and owner I have ever met. She truly caters to her customers and can call each and every one of them by name. You're always in for a treat though when you walk through the doors as you heard they have a daily special that changes each week. When I went I believe I tried that chicken casserole and fried okra did not leave me disappointed at all. It was so good and that sweet tea please. Pleasant your second visit you're bound to be called by your first name. Once things clear up with the weather make sure you go visit Rustic Rooster over on Church Street in Decatur. They're even open on Sundays everybody. Thanks for having me.
