Today we're at Accent Lighting, checking out all the wonderful lights. We're here with Deb Irlacher. Deb's one of the owners here at Accent Lighting, so thanks for having us Deb. Tell us a little about Accent Lighting. What got Absolutely. So 14 years ago when I was ready to start back to work, well my baby was headed into grade one. My husband had an electrical contracting company, PowerPro Electric, for seven years prior to that. He said we need a lighting store in Lloydminster. Why don't we give it a go? So here we are. 50, we carry 15 lines. So here we are 14 years later and we've just grown. You had really, I mean aside from key electrical knowledge, no real experience with dealing with lighting or what was involved? No, just the love of design and finishing homes and that kind of stuff. Nice. So what's the trend these days for lighting? Trend I would say definitely. People come in and want modern farmhouse. They Black, black and gold. And LED'still really popular? Loving LEDs. LED's have come so far in the last decade basically. The prices come down, the quality's gone up, people can afford to put them in their homes now. My favorite thing about LED's is energy efficient and they run cool so they're not going to heat up your home. Nice. And so our LED's, our photographer mentions lots when he takes the pictures of our houses. Excuse me, the yellow light versus the white light. So are LED's more on the white end of things or how does that all work? LED's, there's a range. With the old incandescence there was never a range. You got what you got with an old incandescent light bulb. Even the compact fluorescence, they tried to measure them by color temperature but it was a disaster. The LED's run 2700 Kelvin up to 5000. Most people really prefer them right in the middle at that 3000 Kelvin color. Okay, so not too light or not too yellow, kind of a nice happy medi Absolutely. Okay, awesome. And so Aside from this, Yes, absolutely. We do carry about 15 lines of lighting. Oh wow. We have fans, outdoor lighting, under cabinet lighting, all things lighting. Wow. Absolutely. Cool. So where's your physical location? I mean obviously we're here, I know where you're at but where can people find you? Absolutely. We're on Highway 17 South. We have not moved. We are between the Honda car dealership and the co-op gas bar. We're open Monday to Friday, 9. 30 to 5. 30 by appointments on weekends and evenings. Okay and online presence I ass Absolutely.
