Where cowboy meets country! We are a western style furniture store located at 9th and Railroad in West Des Moines! Check us out at colorado-classics.com

Hello! My name is Chris Burkett, and I am the founder and owner of Colorado Classics. Nearly 20 years ago, my wife Vicki and I started thinking about someday building a new home…a home with a real western look and feel. We soon realized that furnishing a new western styled home would not be easy to do as there were no stores in our state, or even in neighboring states that fully addressed this niche. So, in May of 2008, we opened a new western furnishings store in West Des Moines, Iowa by the name of “Colorado Classics.” Why the “Colorado Classics” name? Because the primary styles for most of the furniture and decor offered at Colorado Classics are styles that one would expect to find at a store in Colorado. Many of our furniture lines are “Western” in one way or another, For instance, we offer the “Mountain Lodge” look, “Ranch” and “Cowboy” styles, as well as “Southwestern” and “Santa Fe” looks. In addition, we have many furniture lines that work well in Traditional, Contemporary, Tuscan, Old World and Western Contemporary styled homes. When customers visit Colorado Classics for the first time, one of the frequent comments we hear is “It’s so comfortable here…so warm and relaxing!” I believe that this is a natural reaction to the fact that so many of the pieces in our store have been crafted in such a way as to place a strong emphasis upon the magnificent beauty of God’s creation. Take a look at the beautiful Tri-Color Brindle Cowhides, the incredible beauty of the onyx stone lamp shades, the gorgeous wood grain of the “live edge” tables, and so on. Man cannot even begin to attempt to duplicate these beautiful pieces, but it is comforting to know that God has created all of this beauty for our enjoyment, and hopefully the natural beauty of these furnishings will serve to make us ever mindful of Him and His Glory. Come to Colorado Classics and experience the comfort and the awesome beauty of His creation for yourself!

Out here in Boulder, the Chautauqua slash Royal Arch Trailhead. Today Jared and I are going to be doing the second flat iron for full god in this one. Check the link in the description below. Quick s This should be under four miles, class four. You can make it harder if you want to. We'll show you along the way but let's get after it. We're a couple trail junctions in but this is the one you don't want to miss which is obviously signed very well. Alright here's a little map second junction here as Jared pointed out so it says go this way but you actually want to keep going this way on the loop so left just under Arriving at the base here. Jared's done this a couple times so he's telling me that these first couple pitches here are the most challenging. If you want to make the difficulty a little bit easier in general on this entire route you can kind of stick to the right here. I don't know we're maybe 50 feet up. It is very obvious that if you stay more to climbers right it's gonna be You probably find class three in here to be honest with you and then if you go over to where these guys are to the left it's higher class four you can probably flirt with a little bit of low class five. This one was Working our way up here and it's just pretty obvious There's a million variations. There's no Find a crack, find what you feel comfortable with and send it. Jared's making his way over to the right. As you get towards the top there's a feature called the diving board which I think we'll probably do. Beautiful look into Boulder. Rock climbers watching this video do not at me. I suck in my climbing form. Awesome view of the first over to Denver. So here's the diving board Okay before the internet at me we're not wearing helmets. You could wear helmets. The only real reason to wear helmet on this is There really isn't As you get up to the top I think this tree to the left is your exit. See some people over on the third here just doing their thing. Boulder is really pretty. This is really bail on their shot. So this tree is the official exit here. You can climb up further if you want but I've heard it's just This is the official way down. Jared and I are going to go around the back side so we're going to add some distance. But if you're not looking at distance you can just pop down this very obvious trail up in front of you here through the woods all the way back down to where you started. Back at the car now. Sorry I didn't really show you the way down because there's a million ways to get down. Our day ended up being just under three and a half miles with Second flat iron was awesome. 10 out of 10 recommend it. Really good place to scramble. There'so much in Boulder that I haven't done so any wrecks Drop them in the comments below. As always thank For a full guide on the second flat iron you can check the link in the description below. I'll have all the information I didn't really cover in the video will be on the website. Parking, how to get here, my GPX file, etc. On behalf of Jared and myself thank
